Do you have to have travel experience?

As soon as you join, you're given access to your extensive, world class travel academy where you will become a certified travel agent. Not only that but by joining the Jet Set Formula, you will also have access to bespoke training portals that go alongside this, unique to our travel team.

You can also take advantage of specialist courses available to you - Disney specialist, honeymoon specialist, cruise specialist amongst others.

All of your training is included in the small business running cost. The training is all online, it's accessible 25 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be done on your terms around your current work and  and existing commitments. It's a completely flexible program that works FOR you!

How long before I can book travel?

Once you join you receive immediate access to your back office and booking system.

There are a number of mandatory training videos that you have to complete followed by a brief assessment to quantify your knowledge. After this point you are licensed to book holidays.  You could easily complete all modules in a day, or over a couple of evenings but this is dependent on how quickly you want to get started. 
Beyond this there are additional and optional trainings that you can join to further your knowledge but we would suggest you do this as you go in a term we've coined Learn as you Earn.

How much time does it take to make a booking?

Booking a holiday through our portal takes no more time than the methods you currently use. If you already look online for the best hotel you can stay at, simply switch over to your own booking engine (works in the exact same way as other online engines you would have heard of) but know that your system will pay you the commission on what you book.

Can't find what you're looking for on the back office, you have more than one way to book as an agent - direct, through a supplier, online. So your options are endless but just as quick as the methods you already using.

Are there any targets or quotas to meet?

Not at all, it's your business so you work it to suit you and that is what we love about it. The model is incredibly flexible and allows you to work it around your existing commitments.

Book holidays as often or as little as you like, knowing that any trips you do book you can earn or save on.

What is commission and how does it work?

Commission is built into every travel component you currently book and is our method of payment.

The providers or online engines you currently use, already have commission built in. Through using your own system, you get to earn this commission yourself.

Commission varies depending on individual supplier, but most offer between 10 - 15% commissions.  By joining this membership, the host agency manages all of our commissions. They therefore receive a small percentage of this amount (30%), with the remaining 70% going to you.  With some suppliers there may be a small MOR card charge which gets absorbed within the commission amount.

How often is commission paid?

Commission is paid 30 - 60 days after your customer has returned from their holiday.  This is so that you don't owe any commissions back should the trip be cancelled.

Absolutely. This opportunity is completely flexible. We don't have any targets or quotas to meet so you can use your booking system as often or as little as you need. We have agents from all walks of life that use the portal to book their own travel. We also have agents that have started to generate a side income by booking for friends and family. We also have agents who have traded their full time job to take this business full time so they can travel as they earn and book travel for customers that have come to them via word of mouth. Do I need a big social media following to sell travel?

Not at all. Not everyone joins to sell travel, some join purely to earn back on their own bookings.

The common misconception is that you need to have a large social media following to be successful in this business, but we want to squash this view early on.

The Jet Set Formula is made up of agents from all backgrounds and with all social media experience. 
Some of our agents have small followings of less than 500 people, whilst some have large followings of 50k+. 
Regardless of where you start, this business can work for you and is ultimately down to the effort you put in, and not how many followers you start with.

If, however you decide that you want to offer travel as a service to others and choose to do this through social selling then you are offered training and support to maximise the opportunities of working online.  You do not need a big following to be successful in selling travel to others. Some of our top sellers have fewer than 1,000 followers. Social following metrics do not dictate success in booking travel. Either way you're offered training to maximise sales if you choose to do it this way.

If you do decide to cancel within the first 30 days, you will receive a refund of your initial investment fee. If you cancel after the first 30 days, you will forfeit the initial investment fee and any monthly payments you've made to date but no further payments will be taken so you can leave at any time.
